My dream is my testing ground

Folded in another dimension, emotions hidden unwind.

A possible future that I

call the past envelopes.

I am cloaked by the reality sitting next to

me, two years behind

swept ten years ahead.

An absent button starts

a game of forgotten warmth.

What is mine is not what it appears to be,

desert sprinkled with mistrust.

There is a longing,

I see through the door,

It loops.
